Mediblink Fingertip Pulse Oximeter M172

Intended use:
For occasional measurement and monitoring of oxygen saturation level in adults.

  • Easy one-button operation - an ideal choice for users who want simple operation

  • Two key measurements in one device - measure oxygen saturation level (SpO2) and pulse rate (PR) in just a few moments

  • Large LED display - the clear display with heartbeat indicator, pulse bar graph and low-battery symbol

  • 5 brightness levels - adjust the display brightness to suit the current conditions, ensuring good visibility both during the day in bright light and at night in darker environments

  • Automatic power-off after 10 seconds - once the measurement is complete, the oximeter switches off automatically after 10 seconds, helping to prevent unnecessary battery consumption

  • Audible signal when the measurement is complete - if you hear an alarm, the measured value is below the preset limit values

  • 2 years warranty - 2 years of worry-free use

What is oxygen saturation level and why is it important to monitor it?

Oxygen saturation level (SpO₂) indicates the percentage of haemoglobin in the blood that is saturated with oxygen. Oxygen is essential for the normal functioning of the brain, heart, and other organs, so monitoring its level in the blood can provide an important indication of how effectively the body is receiving and transporting oxygen.

In healthy individuals, SpO₂ is usually high. However, in certain respiratory diseases, infections, heart conditions, or other health problems, it may begin to decrease. Because reduced oxygen saturation cannot always be recognised in time based on how a person feels alone, a pulse oximeter is a practical device for quick and non-invasive SpO₂ checks at home.

Using a pulse oximeter can be especially useful:

  • in respiratory diseases, when you want to monitor whether the body’s oxygen supply is changing,
  • when experiencing symptoms such as difficulty breathing or shortness of breath,
  • in chronic lung or heart conditions, when SpO₂ monitoring has been recommended by a healthcare professional,
  • during recovery from respiratory infections,
  • for older users, when it is useful to have the option of quickly checking SpO₂ at home, and
  • for anyone whose healthcare professional has recommended regular or occasional monitoring of oxygen saturation level.

An important advantage of pulse oximetry is that it can detect reduced oxygen saturation level even when symptoms are not pronounced. However, measurement results should always be interpreted together with the user’s overall condition and other symptoms.

Mediblink fingertip pulse oximeter M172 allows you to check SpO₂ and pulse rate at home in just a few moments, without taking a blood sample, without complicated procedures, and without any special prior knowledge.

Two key measurements - quick and clear

Mediblink M172 measures two most important pulse oximetry parameters:

  • Oxygen saturation level (SpO₂) – displays the estimated percentage of haemoglobin saturated with oxygen, and
  • Pulse rate (PR) – displays the number of heartbeats per minute.

With just one quick measurement, you get two important indicators of your current physical condition – how well your blood is saturated with oxygen and how fast your heart is beating.

Large LED display - see the result clearly in a moment

Measurement results are shown on a large LED display, allowing you to read the data quickly and clearly. In addition to the measured SpO₂ value and pulse rate, the display also shows a pulse graph bar, allowing you to monitor the detection of heartbeats, as well as a low-battery indicator, which alerts you in good time when the batteries need to be replaced. The large, easy-to-read display is especially convenient for older users and anyone who wants to check their results quickly and easily.

5 brightness levels - good visibility during the day and at night

The display offers 5 brightness levels, allowing you to adjust its intensity to the current lighting conditions and your personal preference. A higher brightness level provides better visibility in strong daylight, while a lower setting is more comfortable in darker surroundings. This ensures that the result remains clearly visible both during the day and at night.

Easy to use - place it on your finger and measure

Mediblink fingertip pulse oximeter M172 is designed for simple and convenient home use. Simply place the device on your finger and take a measurement without complicated settings or additional equipment. An audible signal at the end of the measurement alerts you that the measured value is below the preset limit values. After use, the oximeter automatically switches off after approximately 10 seconds, helping to prevent unnecessary battery consumption.

Storage bag included

The oximeter comes with a practical storage bag, allowing the user to safely store the device after use and help protect it from dust and possible damage.

2 years warranty

2 years of worry-free use. We provide fast service and excellent, responsive customer support.

Content

The package includes 1 fingertip pulse oximeter M172, 1 retaining strap, 1 storage bag, 2 AAA batteries (1,5 V) and 1 user manual.

Cleaning and maintenance

To clean the silicone surface inside the oximeter that comes into contact with the finger, use medical alcohol and a soft cloth moistened with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Do not pour or spray any liquids onto the oximeter.

Important: Under normal conditions, a healthy person has SpO2 between 90 and 100 percent. The most frequently measured results are between 96 and 99 percent. The lower the measured value, the more worrying the situation. Thus, when the saturation is below 94%, the supply of additional oxygen may sometimes be necessary, so it is necessary to inform your doctor about this.
